ELIMINATING AND CONTROL OF MEDICAL WASTE IN KANO CITY

The idea is timeline, although long overdue. Kano, a commercial hub, is bedeviled by improper disposal of waste, mostly inorganic. Many communicable diseases are spread unintentionally through both improper waste disposal and collection. A majority of waste collectors are kids that are usually ill-equiped with both the equipment and know-how on waste collection. The successful conduct of this project will go a long way into minimizing the menace associated with waste in Kano State.
